Investigation Summary
Chester Castle, founded in 1070, retains the 12th-century Agricola Tower with its medieval chapel and wall paintings, now in English Heritage's care after much of the site was rebuilt in the 18th century. Accounts over the years report footsteps, a white-gowned figure (1966), hooded shapes seen by workmen (1978) and a recent CCTV image of a pale figure near the old gatehouse. Recorded by PRN as a reported/folkloric case — historical context, not proof.
