About PRN

Paranormal Response Network

An evidence-led global platform for documenting, researching, and investigating reported paranormal and unexplained phenomena.

Why PRN Exists

Across sampled public discussions in paranormal communities, the same frustrations come up again and again: weak material treated as proof, content that puts entertainment ahead of honesty, unclear source trails, and equipment readings presented as if they detect the paranormal. This is a directional read of recurring themes — not a complete study of every conversation online.

PRN is built for the people those approaches leave behind. Its role is to document, contextualise, label and review — not to force belief or disbelief. PRN keeps uncertainty visible, preserves the source trail, and explains the limits of every reading. It is a research and archive platform, not a ghost-hunting team or a horror channel.

Explore the claim. Check the context. Follow the source trail. Understand the limitations. Decide for yourself.

Mission

PRN exists to investigate reported paranormal and unexplained phenomena using disciplined, evidence-led methods. The platform does not set out to prove or debunk — it documents, researches, and connects investigators and the public with credible resources.

Every reported experience is treated with seriousness and respect, regardless of the ultimate explanation. PRN is built on the principle that careful, methodologically honest investigation is the only responsible way to engage with unexplained phenomena.

What PRN Does

Case Documentation

PRN provides structured tools for logging, documenting, and tracking reported unexplained activity across locations and investigation types.

Field Investigation Coordination

The platform brings together investigators and field teams, supporting coordinated field work, role assignment, and investigation planning.

Research Libraries

Investigators and researchers can access curated research databases, open-access archives, and reference material relevant to paranormal and unexplained phenomena.

Equipment Resources

PRN's Equipment Hub provides guidance on field tools, vendor information, and technical resources for serious investigators.

Community and Volunteer Network

PRN connects a global community of investigators, researchers, and volunteers through dedicated collaboration and communication tools.

Approach

PRN follows evidence-led methodology. All reported activity is treated as unverified until properly documented. No case is presented as confirmed paranormal — environmental, psychological, and conventional explanations are always considered first.

Source material is preserved and attributed. The platform encourages sceptical inquiry alongside open-minded investigation. Investigators are expected to document methodology, record environmental baselines, and preserve original evidence without alteration.

PRN uses careful language throughout: “reported,” “alleged,” “documented,” “observed.” Terms such as “confirmed,” “proven,” or “verified haunting” are not used unless supported by independent, reproducible evidence.

Open Research

PRN supports open access to non-sensitive research material, encourages collaboration across the investigator community, and operates transparently about its methods and limitations.

Sensitive case data, witness identities, and private location details are always protected. Access to restricted records is limited to authorised personnel, and all data handling follows PRN’s privacy and ethical review processes.

Get Involved

PRN welcomes serious investigators, researchers, and anyone with a genuine interest in unexplained phenomena. Whether you want to contribute field experience, research, or technical skills — or simply stay informed — there is a place for you in the PRN community.
